A life was all I ever planned to live, and that I did. I dreamed but only to die a death that would not be in vain. And it was not. And here, from the ashes like a phoenix, I rise again. However: into the light I shall not pass. Within the shadows I will remain, lurking and waiting in the dark. In limbo I will carry on, until the time for this eclipsed existance to end rises like the burning dawn.
And yet I have allowed for you to glimpse the shadow of my ghost, and here you wonder... Why?
My blazing Starlight, my eternal Sunshine, my glorious Amaterasu... let me tell you why.
This is but the price of a man cursed with the Touch of Midas. To touch those who mean more than life itself means only... destruction. There is no cure for life stolen, love lost. The only remedy to this curse is preventing it from ever coming to be.
If Midas does not touch those who turn his nights to day, if Midas does not touch those who, like shining stars, are there to guide his way... The Golden King cannot destroy that which he loves most, lives for.
I will not allow the dark Hell in which I live... to consume you. It's taint stretched out, bled into the light, and harmed you once before.
