A New Year...

And so it is oficially 2004. I guess I've spent so many years with the monks that I'm surprised. I mean "Wow! 2004"... uh anyway, I've got a plane ticket out of Sydney tonight. Minus a couple of layovers and refueling stops, I'll be in Athens the next time I write. From there, it'll be backpacking and wandering around Europe until I decide to go

Wow, Athens... that would be really neat. Too bad the Olympics won't be going on while you're there, but that would mean a lot of people around and be pretty crazy.

I didn't see any of Europe when I was there last year (or I guess I mean the year before - whatever 2002 is) except Great Britain, but I liked it there. Where I was, it was quiet and serene, and there's a lot of really old building and artifacts and things like that. Could be a little like Tibet in a way, just more Anglo-Saxon-y. But I did see London a couple of times... that place is wild!
