[crossing his arms, still trying to get the damned ninja headband off. ]

[Pulling his tail under the bed, all Haseo is met with is a grunt.]

..Could be worse?

[At the sound of the familiar voice, Frank pulls his tail under the bed and turns around underneath his darkened shelter. He reaches out and takes hold of the Dreamberry, poking the lower half of his face out of the shadows - attempting to obscure the rest of himself.]

I do not understand why this has happened.

[stoicism]

[Frank's shoulders sag, allowing a faint sound of defeat to escape him.] I am capable of comprehending and enduring many things this world decides to make me face... But when my body is transfigured, it becomes difficult to tolerate.

[stoicism]

[He crawls out from under the bed to retrieve his Dreamberry, a pair of canine ears replacing his own. Those ears remain pulled back and flattened against his head as he attempts to obscure them from view.]

I would assume such... But until I find a means of coping with this transformation, I will find it difficult to accept.

[stoicism]

[Of all creatures great and small for him to become, it simply had to be a dog. One of the creatures he detested with an almost vehement passion and now, he was stuck in the body of one. The extra appendages, while incredibly inconvenient, were only the beginning of his issues.

The full transformation into a canine was a much different and far graver matter in his mind.]

So I have found myself becoming aware... It remains something I hold no fond attachment for.

Tell the doggy that it's very bad for being under that bed, and tell it to go away. If that doesn't work, then find someone who can carry it away.

[Frank slowly emerges from beneath the bed, ears perking up only slightly before he flattens them down again.]

I do not believe your theory will be effective.

[Oooh, he was a doggy youkai. Or was he a wolf youkai? Maybe even a tengu? Well, it didn't really matter that much.]

[One of his ears twitches and stands upright, the other remaining flat. It looks quite silly but he pays it no mind - he's only somewhat conscious of the fact it's even happening.]

These ears. They do not belong to me and it would be preferable if they would be removed.

[At first, Sunny was sure that whoever was in the video had to have a dog with them under the bed. Maybe they didn't know how to take care of it... Everyone seemed to be in an uproar right now because their clothes changed. Even Sunny was feeling rather pink at the moment. maybe this person's costume made them have a dog?

... Then she realized that, whoever was in this video, she recognized that voice.]

F-Frank?

[At the sound of the timid voice, the bushy tail shoots straight upwards in what could only be described as surprise. Though that emotion would never truly show on the young soldier's face, his newfound ears and tail offer a new range of emotional body language he's only now beginning to uncover. The tail gives a wag before it's forced back down and slips under the bed. Frank shifts around and looks out from under the bed, keeping his ears obscured as he takes hold of the Dreamberry.

Sunny is looking back at him from beyond the screen. There's a long pause before he lightly wipes the screen with his thumb, as if stroking the child's cheek. It's been a long while since he's seen the girl and perhaps a part of him truly missed her, even if he hadn't recognized it.]

...Sunny. [She isn't dressed as the Sunny he recalls would clothe herself but bearing in mind the recent changes Somarium has underwent, her voice is all the recognition he requires.] I had not expected to see you.

[Since Sunny's perception of the time she had been gone had only been one night's worth of time, waking up to find that not only had Snake changed houses, but also that Frank wasn't living with him any more was jarring. She didn't see Frank very much when they lived together because he was usually out on patrol, but she had been really determined to get to know him better. She surprised herself at how disappointed she felt when she realized he wasn't living with them anymore.]

[There's a long pause before Frank speaks again.]
