Did anyone else receive this message about an expedition to the desert ruins? If so, is anyone actually going?

I have my own reservations about this, but perhaps those who have been here longer may know something about more about it.

Admittedly, the circumstances are rather mysterious, but I do think I'll be going. This could be an opportunity to find out more about this world.

Somarium does tend to keep its secrets for itself. It also sounds like there will be a decent sized group, plus those who will most likely show up on their own.

Hopefully, a big enough group would mean we're capable of taking anything that Somarium may try to throw at us. Has anyone else confirmed that they are going as well?
