Hey, I saw that you are a new maker in couplesgraphics and when I checked out your userinfo, I saw that we had some things in common (we're members of some of the same communities, and I am an ex-army wife, my husband just got out of the servie in January). He was in the National Guard for 8 years. He deployed to Iraq for a year right after we were married (luckily he was home to see his first daughter born), but because of his crazy work schedule (he worked for them as a full-time technician in addition to the monthly drills) he missed out on a lot with the girls. When his 8 years were up he looked at his girls, and he looked at the fact that his unit is up for another 18 month deployment overseas and he said enough for now, I need to focus on my family and not this.

wow, That is defineatly a fear of mine when russ and i start a family, I know he's going to miss out on a lot. .. Thanks for sharing that with me.
