101 Goals in 1001 Days.

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.

The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

Why 1001 Days? Many people have ( Read more... )

a few things:

1-I may totally do this. I don't know if I can think of that many things though.
2-I can Crochet, I learned when I was in the hospital the second(?) time. I can teach you if you don't know anyone that can.
3-I have the outsiders, to kill a mocking bird(two of my favourite books ever), catcher in the rye and the harry potters if you want to borrow them
4-I am all about scrapbooking
5-We're working on getting everyone together for dinner before Christmas, so I may need your help in corraling everyone. You in?

1 - I've been thinking about it for a few days... and even while I was writing it, I drew some inspiration from the community's website/LJ. It took me a few hours, but once you get into the swing of things, it's really not that difficult to come up with 101 - I even had to hold back and narrow a few down LOL ( ... )

I live up near Lindsay now with my Dad.

I was thinking about this yesterday and thought that we should get everyone to get dressed up and go somewhere semi-fancy. I don't know why, I just thought it would be fun.

People I can get are Ian, Kerry, Miro & Kruno and you. I've already talked to Kerry and Kruno and they're both in.

LOL it was actually really hard to organize it, because so many of the points overlapped into different categories (ie all the music stuff could be considered "career" "arts" or "fun"!

I think there's always stuff to do, even if you start off small, and then start to think about longer-term things as you go along. I actually realized that most when I was thinking about my nieces... it's crazy to think this, but like, by the time I actually finish the 1001 days, Paris will be 4 years old, and Nicole will be 3! When I realized that, I thought about the girlie day with them :)

Thanks, I'll definitely need the luck! I put it right at the top of my journal (post-dated the entry) so that I have to see it every time I look at my page, for motivation :)

surprisingly enough, i've actually SEEN all but two of the movies in that top 10. I *SUCK* at watching/reading/keeping up on "important" things like that. LOL... I figured if I owned them, I'd have more motivation to check out more classics

as for 99, a version is now made... called "Dark Side of Oz" that has the soundtrack dubbed over the movie.

FYI :)

You really should just go see it at the Bloor Cinema. It plays pretty much monthly because I always see listings for it.

Also when I went when the lights went down half the audience lit up joints and pipes so getting high for the occasion won't be difficult.

74 - scarring is there whether you like it or not, unfortunately. You can prevent the scarring by not picking at the ingrowns. To prevent ingrowns (or to encourage ingrowns to come to the surface), use a loofah or some sort of exfoliating sponge/glove. If that proves not to be effective enough, you could use an exfoliating cream of some sort (perhaps one you'd normally use on your face?). These are tips I got from my waxer :) I don't shave anymore, but when I got for a wax I exfoliate with a loofah everyday until hairs are about 2mm long. Once at that stage I exfoliate maybe every 3-4 days or less... Because your hair grows in cycles, some hair comes in faster than others. Plus we're always shedding.

OH! And it's important to moisturise. Use a moisturiser that doesn't clog pores.

bleh, i had a feeling it was gonna be there :( I have to try and see about some kind of scar minimizing lotion or something. I *constantly* pick at the ingrowns... they drive me nuts.
I usually use a loofah in the shower, but I might have to get some serious exfoliating stuff... maybe I'll talk to someone at the drug store about it or something...
I usually epilate, but I've been known to switch between the two when I don't have time to epilate my full leg.

I have to go find (and actually use) a good moisturizer.
