Heroes Fic: Remembering

So...this is officially my first attempt at Heroes fic. I'm always beyond nervous dabbling in a new fandom so I hope this turned out okay. It's Paire, because I can't get enough of them and it's super angsty because apparently someone's been shooting me up with hormones or something when I wasn't looking.

This was absolutely beautiful! I love angst & this story had me squeeing with glee (which sounds bad but it's really not). I thought you did a great job capturing Claire's anguish over Peter's death and Claire trying to be what her father wants but can't. My favorite lines:

She can feel her father on the periphery of her life, anxiously awaiting the day she finds her way back to the girl she used to be. She wishes there was some way to put him at ease without weighing him down with the truth that not even the indestructible girl can recover from watching her heart explode across the New York City skyline.

I hope to read more of your writing soon! =)

Thank you so much! Even without them actually being together on the show they had such an amazing instantaneous connection, I can just imagine Claire being completely devastated after he died. And her father really is just trying to do what's best for her but it seems like that normal life would be pretty hard to reconcile with her grief for Peter.

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, I'm kind of slow when it comes to writing new things but I'll definitely be playing in this sandbox again. Thanks again for commenting!
