good stuff there, yup. i recently read thinking fast and slow by kahneman, one of the guys who did some of the original research on this stuff. also good, and recommended.

What's really fun is you can manipulate this stuff. Give someone a dose of adrenalin and stick them in front of a rickety bridge and they'll become scared of the bridge. Stick 'em in front of a mildly attractive experimenter and suddenly they're feeling that way because the experimenter is so damn hot.

Or take a date to a scary movie.

Yes, I have been told that generating small doses of adrenaline on every meeting is an effective way to make people fall in love with you. It sorta puts teasing and friendly competition in a new light. ;)
