[Point of time in canon from which the character is taken] Book 13, just after getting out of the Cave of the Three Treasures.
[Background info] Kitchel was a thief on the streets of downtown Dragoon, the capital city of Draqueen until she snuck into the Dragon Castle with the idea of seeing what it had to steal. She was found out and offered a job by Lord Lykouleon, which she readily accepted. She left for some time, searching for the legendary pieces of the map... the map to the Three Treasures, three items of great power. To fund her travels, she sent Thatz, her proclaimed rival, on a wild goose chase, and took his money while he was gone, much to his dismay.
Kitchel completed her mission quickly, running into Thatz (along with Rune and Rath) at one point while tracking down one of the stone pieces of the map with the radar rock, a little black stone sensitive to the location of the pieces. The next time she saw him was when she was reporting in to the Dragon Lord. She had only one more piece of the map to find before starting her search for the actual treasures and was annoyed to find that Thatz was to be sent with her as protection from the demons she would doubtless encounter. Some bickering and adventuring later, they ended up on top of a mountain on an island in the middle of the ocean, cornered by three demons and with a faerie named Ringleys for company. Thatz sent/knocked her into the cave housing the Three Treasures with a Dragon Eye (powerful magic item needed to work the map), his necklace (also needed to work the map), and Ringleys.
She and Ringleys found the treasure with ease, but getting out of the caves was harder than it should have been... In the end, after several run-ins with demons and werewolves and general annoyances and a chance meeting with Tetheus in another dimension, they were transported out of the caves by a specter (not a ghost, as he was very clear to point out).
[Personality] Kitchel is loud. She is very out-going and optimistic and determined that things will work out in the end. Her philosophy, as she once says, is that "it's no use worrying about things if you can't do anything about them". Kitchel is very physical in that she likes the outdoors and lives in the here and now. She is energetic and cheery to the point of being annoying if you're around her too long. She also cares a lot about her friends, and nearly everyone is her friend. Oh, and the shiny. Kitchel likes the shiny.

I'm gonna claim my pay and head straight to the beach! I've been cooped up in that cave for far too long! *humming off-key to herself as she walks along*

Well, sorry, buddy, but I'm currently on a mission for the Dragon Lord and I can't stop to talk-! I've gone through the multi-dimension cave, I think I can find my way back to Draqueen just fine! ...It's HOW far? What?! ...The train, huh? ...Well, I guess you're right. I might as well take a short break... Is there a pool? Man, do I ever need to work on my tan...
