Whilst pondering who you are, think more of who you are in terms of yourself, not the opinions of others. The difficulty of the former is inconceivably greater than that of the latter, but I can assure you that once you get it life gets much easier. Looking to others to know yourself may indeed be a reflection of who you are, but even mirrors can warp and distort.
