My big "OMG I saw GOF 4 days before anyone else" post.
Not many spoilers. Though I wouldn't read if you haven't seen it yet...which is pretty much impossible.

-Ok so I'll skip the whole pre movie stuff where I arrived 2 hours early and was FIRST in line and met cute boys...
Anyways. I FREAKED out as I was sitting in my seat. I kept saying "We are so privileged" and "As many times as you see this movie it'll never be as good as it is right now." and the lights go out and the Warner Brothers logo comes on the screen and I start crying already. I seriously sat there with my mouth wide open for the first 10 minutes, in just disbelief, I could not believe I was really seeing this movie before everyone else. But I was. And within the first minute I said to myself "This is friggin amazing. Best movie ever. Love." and it truly was.
-In the beginning I noticed the new direction right away. There were closer and stranger head shots, which stopped after the Quidditch World Cup. But yeah, Quidditch World Cup was one of the best scenes. I felt the energy and love those people felt for their sport. And then the deatheaters...that scene was sooooooo scary. I really felt their pain and their fear! I almost screamed "Run, Harry, Run!" it was so real. And the death eaters were so scary.
-I had a hard time keeping track in the few scenes after that cuz they kinda jumped around a tad.
-The 2nd time I cried was in the scene where Mad Eye Moody puts the Avada Kevedra on the spider, and the the camera flashes to Harry's face. It was so sad seeing him witness the curse that killed his parents.
-I was kinda mad they made BOTH Padma and Pavarti be Gryffindors. WRONG. I actually said "WRONG" out loud on that one. Everything else that was wrong was meant to be for the film and was necessary.
-There were soooooo many Harry/Hermione moments in this movie, which I of course loved. And really, after seeing this movie how can you deny the love between them? I mean there was 1 Ron/Hermione sceen where Hermione like screams at Ron and tells him he ruined everything, and I donno. It wasn't in the book and I think they only added it to emphasize their relationship in the following books. But yeah. Emma was GREAT in the Yule ball scenes. One of the best scenes in the movie.
-In the books I never felt anything for Cedric. I always felt his presence was rushed and never really had any prominence...and it didn't in the movie either. But Robert Pattison is amazingly gorgeous. And because I fell in love with him, I fell in love with his character. And it really made me think about Cedric. I mean he was the perfect guy. Every girl wanted to date him and every guy wanted to be him. He was the athlete. He was the brain. He was the all around nice guy. And he loved Cho, and she loved him. And then he had to die :(
-And so I was completely prepared for the Cedric dying scene. Except when it happened I was completely shocked. I was numb. He hit the ground and I gasped like it couldn't be happening. And then they just went on! Voldemort came back to life, and the death eaters came back, and in every scene you saw Cedric's lifeless body in the backround. And when Voldemort got his body I really had to look closely to see the Ralph Fiennes in him. But he looked so good. And I love how he just ripped off the Death Eater's masks. Showed his power, and how much at his debt they still were even after all these years.
-The second Harry hit earth at school again and cried out "He's Back. Voldemort's back" and clung to Cedric's body...I just lost it. I cried for Cedric, I cried for Harry, I cried for Cedric's father, I cried for Cho, I cried for the entire Wizarding World.
....and yes. Amazing. Words do not describe the wonderfulness that is this movie. I STRONGLY encourage everyone to see this movie in IMAX, because nothing compares.
