I have decided that this Summer's guiltiest pleasure is by far SciFi's Who Wants to be a Superhero. It's a "reality show" where real people have invented and become a superhero, including costume. They are living together (or at least gather there) and Stan "The Man" Lee himself puts them through different challenges ( Read more... )

I haven't been able to make myself watch any episodes yet. I think I want to, but then just the idea scares me off.

I do know that, just from the commercials, the dude in the red costume is my favorite.

And, damn! Go Stan. He's like the Dick Clark of the comic world.

My grandma just turned ninety-seven. :P

I'm too scared to watch that show. Plus I don't have time to watch much TV lately anyway. Very sad about that.

I have unfortunately got hooked on this one too. It is funny how serious they are, but at the same time, I think that it would be fun.

But anyway, I am pulling for Lemuria or Feedback right now, they are the best that I have seen. And Fat Mamma just needs to go home, she is just divisive and selfish, not exactly the model of a superhero.

Oh and my personal favorite was the transformation of Iron Enforcer to the Dark Enforcer, he really did make a horrible superhero, but makes an excellent foil as a supervillian.

Yeah, its campy and nerdy, but fun. Good job Stan :D
