Hey you! I feel like I haven't seen/heard from you in forever! How are you?

Ugh, voting. We vote in November so I still have some time, thank goodness. (my mom's super into knowing where each candidate stands so I can always ask her for the rundown.)

I am more or less in one piece.

I had a small problem where I thought my internet hated me since every time I tried to log into anything (livejournal, e-mail, banking) it keeled over and died. Unfortunately it turned out to be my computer rather then the internet but it took a couple of months to replace it.

I tend to check the parties websites for their actual policies rather then the he/she/they will lead the country to rack and ruin bit that the advertising tends to have. Luckily these days even most independents have their own websites that outline where they stand on at least the basics.

It could be a couple of weeks before we get a complete result but things are shaping up to be interesting - the house of representatives now has a Member for Melbourne from the Green Party and the Greens have never held a seat in the house of Reps before.
