After finally working out a deal with Gaara, Rose finally arrived in Kras City, just outside the Bloody Hook. She went up to the door and pushed it open, not caring about all the stares she got as she walked in. Indeed, she did stick out like a sore thumb in this world, with her short rounded ears and with the indigo leather armor she wore.
She looked around the room to see if she can find Jak, a smirk playing on her lips. What was about to happen was bound to be exciting.
Jak grinned as she entered and moved out of the booth just long enough for her to see him wave. Quite apart from his friends looking for him, he had a few enemies in the city as well - which was precisely why he'd chosen to meet here, where it would be harder for the others to search for him.
Looks like she didn't have to look very long. She made her way over to Jak's booth and easily slide into the seat next to him. "Hm... Nice place," she purred as she got comfortable in the booth. "Seems like my kind of crowd here."
"It does, doesn't it?" Jak agreed. "You'll forgive me for being overly cautious, I'm sure; I'm afraid I'm rather well-known here, and being recognized could get... inconvenient." Working for and then killing one crime lord, racing against and then indirectly killing the next, and racing alongside the latest tended to do that.
