I've been disabled all my life. I have not always known why. I don't mean in that, "Why me, Lord?" I mean I didn't have a diagnosis. Not for lack of trying, especially in the beginning. I know that my medical issues are pretty wimpy compared to yours, but I do get a bit of what you're saying, I think. More than a few times, I've felt that having a diagnosis, even of something moderately serious, would at least be closure. And it might even... I don't know.

I don't *need* an excuse, not really. But it would feel like, "okay, great, now I know that it didn't matter if I'd exercised a bit more, or a bit less, or in a different way, or if I'd followed a different diet or caught X_Symptom right away...".

So I can say: I am glad you have your answer.
