Apparently the fandom is all a-buzz over the last book in our saga. I've barely paid any attention to it, it's so pathetic. But then what can you expect when your entire demographic is the oh-so-pitifully desperate high school girl? That's one social strata that never changes, and I've had enough years of high school to know that as fact.

Daddy showed me pictures. Of Momma in the sun when she was human. She didn't sparkle then. Then again, most humans don't.

Momma was still human when she and Daddy went on their honeymoon. Momma got pregnant with me. We all came home so Grandpa Carlisle could take care of Momma. She almost died when she had me a month later, but Daddy saved her by changing her.

Then we had a bunch of problems with the Volturi. They thought I was an immortal child, but I'm not. I'm just half-vampire. But with help from Jacob and the other wolves and lots of the other covens from all over the world, and thanks to Momma's gift, we were able to win.
