Appearance: Tall, athletic, but lean, not bulky. Long, dark hair with a hint of curl to it. She's actually quite pretty when she smiles and has beautiful, dark brown eyes. Her skin is sunkissed and golden. She is fairly obviously Latina. Tomboyish, but she cleans up well.
Personality: Trudie has big time abandonment issues due to her girlfriend Alison getting killed. The first part of high school was rough on her and she went from being very well-to-do in Cuba to poor in Miami. She saw her father crumple under the strain and become an alcoholic and bum. He had been a respected bureaucrat. Now he did nothing but drink himself into a stupor while her mother worked two jobs to try and pay for things. She has several siblings and she's the oldest. Overall, she's responsible. She's loyal. She's loving in her own way, which is incredibly gentle for the right people. She has machismo. She believes herself the protector of those she loves. She's a provider. She doesn't take the feminine stereotypical gender role at all save in one respect; she cooks. She's hard, but not unyielding. She's serious, but she has an amazing sense of humor. She's polite, but only to those who earn her respect. If you don't? Her tongue is the only thing more blunt than her fists.
Backstory: Trudie got involved in a lot of mess in Miami. Her girlfriend was shot in a drive by as an innocent bystander. She made it her business to get revenge. She studied the gang that shot her. She stalked them, basically. She beat up a lot of people for information. She isn't sure if she ever killed anyone or not, she never stopped to find out. She eventually was caught, but not by the gang, she was caught by the cops. She was set to go to a juvenile detention center, but the last minute influence of the Hemingway family got her sent to a school in the northeast. It was there that she met Virginia and the two ended up going to the same college. Trudie's father was formerly a politician in Cuba and ended up catching hell from Castro and they fled to the US and Miami. Her family is still in Miami where they are mindblowingly impoverished now and her father drinks too much.
Skills, Talents, and Likes: Trudie is an excellent mechanic. If it's a car, she can fix it. She's athletic and has a first degree black belt in Kyokushin karate. She is also a very good soccer player. She's also generally intelligent and possessed of a fair amount of wit.
Flaws, Drawbacks, and Dislikes: Trudie has a horrible, horrible temper. She takes the concept of machismo a bit too far sometimes. She is insecure about her intelligence and thinks of herself as a dumb jock. She can be blunt like a rock to the forehead and sometimes doesn't realize just how hurtful that can be.
