Like so many of my friends, D&D was a cornerstone of my childhood. It was a small bright spot in a lot of lonely years, someplace where I could be whatever I wanted to be and have adventures undreamed of. I think I'm gonna have to lead a group of friends into 'Tomb of Horrors' soon, for old times sake.

That. . . is a fantastic idea! I'm gonna see if folks around here are interested in that.

This was very sad news, as I stated in my own journal. Still looking for a way to talk about the impact that D&D and Gygax have had on my life. . . .
