How utterly stupid. Let emos be emo. What's so fucking bad about people dressing in tight clothing, having long bangs, and dying their hair black? Why is it so bad that emos alliance themselves with bands they feel they can relate to? True, they may seem melodramatic and egocentric.... but most emos are teenagers, and what teenager do you know that ISN'T that way to some degree?

mostly why many other people attack emo kids in latin america is for the reason that most are bi-sexual and gay. In many south american countries being gay is unacceptable.
I have personally always had a dislike for emo kids, but I really don't see why they went so far. Many of these people are influenced by american pop culture, so they really don't know what they are talking about.
