I know this is a community for Ryan and Jon, but I think it's important that we show support for both of the boys, even if Jon's being a dick. they're on hiatus.

*shakes head* I've never liked Jon, but I listened to the songs and yeah..not much to say.. It's like he split up with his band and went on to make another one called The Young Veins and...oh wait that has happened.. *shakes head again*

I personally love Jon, but I know what you mean. He's being absolutely douche-tastic. And yeah, I don't know what he's thinking.

I don't get what's with all the Jon hate, to be honest. It may be kind of stupid to say this, but I feel like he's the one with the short straw. I think it's unfair to say that he 'split up' his band since we have no clue what really happened. But I personally love Home Recordings - Jon's voice is so soothing and I'm a sucker for sweet acoustic tunes.

I just think he's finally doing what he wants to do! There's nothing unfair about that~
Personally, I really want him to fill in on bass for Empires in 2011 and open for them. I'd be so happy.

Really, I don't think Jon split up the band. And even if he did, I don't think I'd mind. I'll follow Jon's musical carreer anywhere. Obviously, if he doesn't want to do the Young Veins anymore, that means he's not happy with it. And I like my Jon Walker with a side of smiles. :D We're not even sure if the Young Veins are done. Maybe I'm being hopeful, but "hiatus" doesn't mean "finished ( ... )

Yeah, I think Jon's a super talented guy and deserves the recognition he deserves. He's doing what he wants, and if he's happy doing that than more power to him! As for The Young Veins, I doubt it's ~over. Obviously Ryan's still on good terms with Andy and Nick and Will Noon so I doubt there was HUGE drama even between him and Jon, or anyone in Jon.

Ah, I can see that. When he's in Chicago he does kind of seem to drift. But whatever, we don't know, haha. There's no telling what ~really~ happened, but he's engaged now so I'm sure he's got a lot to consider.

Home Recordings is so cute, it calms me down a lot. :3 I think he's got the least 'impressive' voice (I'm one of those freaks who LOVES Ryan's singing voice, but Brendon's got way better technique, as he should) but it's just so...it fits him, oddly enough.

(Jon and Tom being BFFLs in Empires! Making Sean jealous! Taking creepy photos of each other in hotels again! It's my dream!)

Yeah, even if Jon decided not to go back to the band, it's not like Ryan's just going to find something completely different. I mean, he may, since he and Jon started the band and wrote the material together. But I can't see Jon being too upset about them still going without him. But, the fact that they aren't making music without Jon may mean that they're just waiting for him to get back into it with them. And well, I don't see a lot of drama either. I'm sure that whatever is happening, they're there for each other ( ... )
