I loved how he matured further and learned the many skillsrequired for his position in Alexander's army.

So it ends ... :( well, sad, but every story has and end - and if it's a happy ending I appreciate that very much.

You are the one who made me read Alexander/ Hephaistion fics again! And I really enjoyed your way of writing *hugs*

It was a nice ending for this story. I liked the part where 'Cleitus the wise' assured Haphaestion, that Alexander would love no other the way he loves his consort. In my eyes you made Hephaestion a man by letting him show his skills in front of everybody :)

I don't know yet, but I guess you inspired me to write an Ale/Phai story where our king has to feel the sting of jealousy (unless you wanted to write such story yourself)

Well, I hope to read the RPS story when you find the time to write ;p

What a sweet thing to say. For myself, there are so many A/H that I haven't read that I can't wait till winter to read them. (My down time) I'll probably write like crazy too.

It makes me feel good that you enjoyed the ending. By all means, write a A/H jealousy fic. PLEASE! After all, every persons stories are different.

I adore this story and it is so sad that it is finally come to the end. But it is a good ending as well. I see a lot of potential in Hephaistion for being a valuable asset for Alexander. I happy to see that you make Alexander say that he love Heph out loud and admit his love at first sight with his lover. THey are so adorable together. Really like this AU story and can't wait to read new A/H story from you.

WOW. This was breathtaking. I loved this story, every chapter and line of it. Your youthful, naive, yet strong, intelligent and stubborn Hephaestion was a pleasure to read, and your Alexander in love was beautiful. I also loved your Cleitus! Such a great mentor to Hephaestion...

Very nice ending, Wendy, and excellent writing about the skills H is learning, it made me travel in time to watch! Using Cleitus as a father figure who loves the young soldier as he loves and respects Alexander was an interested choice. The sex was amazingly hot, as always! Loved it all the way!

I have been so busy, that I've been lucky if I get one chapter out a week these days. I hope things will quiet down soon and I can write more soon. I've forgotten more stories that I intended to write then that I have actually written. LOL.
