Maybe it's supposed to mate with Bellflower's kinky looking manta-ray thing.

Dwarfish mine sign? I'll confess my curiosity, though "dwarven" seems more familiar.

There is some lilac around the Farm, if that is a help.

They probably mean the same thing. Short, good with axes and mining, more hair than face?

Thanks, that is a help.

They may very well. It seems more a quirk of the spelling.

Yes, yes and yes. That rings true. I also have an impression of underground kingdoms. Strict hierarchies. Other, blurrier things. But I have heard of such a people before.

Yeah, that's right. If you've got a city with dwarfs in it, chances are there's two cities on the same ground: one above and one below. They're led by a King. The Low King, I think he's called.

I haven't run into many other people who are familiar with them. If you don't mind me asking, do you remember any other species that you don't see around here?

...that looks a bit odd but, maybe someone will know what it is.

But I'm sorry I can't answer either of your questions.

That's fine, I didn't expect most people here to know it. Precious few of them even know what dwarfs are. It was worth a try.

I've never even heard of them until this entry. What are they?

Never? They're a different species from humans. They're all short, bearded and they live underground. That's the basics, anyway. I wouldn't be able to tell you everything about them on account of the fact that I can hardly tell you anything about my own species.
