so my journalism prof went on this whole big spiel last week about using words incorrectly and one that really struck her fancy was "irregardless" she just had a hoot with that one it was pretty hilarious since i get excited about weird things like words all the time. lol no worries i had never even heard of irregardless when my prof brought it up
basically, people use the word irregardless when they mean regardless
but the proper way to say it is regardless
irregardless isn't a real word.
