[unbeknownst to Tavros, there is someone stalking him. a certain someone who has much more experience with this sort of thing than he does. it sort of comes with hunting other animals for food your entire life. but it's all in good fun as she silently sneaks up behind him!]

[Tavros is definitely not the stealthiest of trolls, and so he doesn't really notice that Nepeta is silently following him, of course. He's too busy concentrating on being as discreet as he can, which isn't really too discreet at all.]

[purrsona]

[he should probably just completely give up all hopes of being discreet, because within a matter of seconds, Nepeta is playfully pouncing on her friend in the friendliest way possible!!]

[flytoreadorfly]

[Unexpected pouncegreets! Tavros wobbles on his legs and then falls flat on his face, the impact making a rather loud sound that reverberates in the hall.]

W-whoa...!

[purrsona]

[whoops! she didn't expect that to happen! Laughing, she gets off her fellow troll and extends a hand to help him back up.]

Heehee, sorry Tavros! I couldn't resist!

Oh, uh. Hi, Nepeta.

[He rubs his face, but takes the proffered hand and hauls himself up with a little difficulty.]

Well, that's kind of, what you're inclined to do, so. Haha, I guess you don't, really have to apologize on that matter.

[purrsona]

If you say so!

[she takes a step back after it looks like he's up and steady, bouncing slightly on her heels.]

Was I interrupting something?

[And that makes him remember that he had a job to do...oh well. His 'target' is out of sight, now.]

I was, well, in the middle of work, but. I'm not really sure if, what I was doing was significant at all, so, I guess it doesn't matter, too much.

[purrsona]

Oh... my bad! Even if it doesn't matter, I should have been more careful.

[she's slightly downcast after hearing that. the corners of her mouth fall and her tail droops a bit.]

Is there any way I can make it up to you?

Oh, uh. I don't think there's, any need to compensate me, because, it's not like they ask me to, give them recorded proof or whatnot.

[Tavros shakes his head-- he doesn't want Nepeta to feel bad.]

So, uh, maybe we could just. Agree to keep this a secret.

[purrsona]

Well... okay, if you say so! My lips are completely sealed. [she still feels kind of bad, but she figures she'll go with it! what her friend wants is most important, after all. in any case, she's smiling again.]

[flytoreadorfly]

Haha, okay. Thanks, Nepeta.

[He's heartened by the fact that no one here seems to be upset, which is really an ideal state for him. He looks around, making sure that he's really lost his target before suggesting:]

Are you, uh, doing anything right now.

[purrsona]

Nope! I am done with my job fur today.

[she grins, her innocent smile hiding the fact that her job consists of killing giant monsters every day. but hey, that's just daily life for her.]

Do you have something planned?

[flytoreadorfly]

[He wouldn't really think too much of Nepeta's job of killing monsters, even if he did know-- that was just what she did, so. Just a little bit of home on the ship, he'd guess.

He brightens a bit when she doesn't reject him right off the bat.]

Uh, I was thinking that maybe, we could find some of the human desserts, and try some. I was, doing my job, so to speak, and one of the people went into, something called a 'candy store'.

[purrsona]

[it's sort of strange to her, making decisions on her own without consulting Equius first. she hadn't seen her moirail in the longest time... being independent is a weird thing, but the Thor is a place for new experiences-so she figures, why not give it a try? what's the worst that could happen?

... of course, being a troll, that could be a very dangerous thing to say, but she'll take her chances.]

Ohh, that sounds like fun! I've already had a couple myself thanks to one of my new furriends! They are very strange at furst, but they are really delicious once you get used to them.
