What: A double date. This is a set-up for America to show Canada how to make out with a girl. ...Yah. Can you see the trauma from there?

Where: A nice restaurant on the planet. How romantic!

As Canada picked at the last bit of his dessert of fruit cake à la mode, he couldn't help but glance across the table at his brother wonderingly. Nothing had happened the whole time. Which was to say, perhaps America had seen how happy he was to have Jasmine back, and he'd decided to not do that... 'lesson' he'd threatened promised? Maybe? Just maybe...
He then smiled at Jasmine, then shyly took another bite of cake. He'd warned her that America might do something weird on this double date, but perhaps it would be all right.
Suddenly outside of the restaurant in the dim violet sky came a snap and a flare of light - fireworks! They had a clear view through the huge windows, and all conversation paused as they admired the sight of being nearly eye-level with the bursts as they floated and fell between the islands.
After the display Canada quietly applauded, then suddenly blurted, "Oh, that reminds me!" Looking over at America he asked, "Do you have any plans for your birthday yet?"
