[ Jasmine figures there's absolutely nothing wrong with trying new things for a change... which is why she ends up at Jelly Roll Schneider's Red-Hot Jazz Kitchen, trying to convince herself that it's okay to be there, even if she's by herself. It's not an easy task, but she's surely trying! ]

[Holmes' employer motions to where Jasmine is sitting, alone, hissing at him to go entertain the girl, she looks bored. Holmes glances at her, recognizes her as the girl that Canada may or may not be courting (he's only seen her over the Guide feeds, never talked to her himself), and obliges him employer with a dry raise of the brow.

Hey Jasmine, I hope you're ready to have a sarcastic detective come your way.]

Good evening, miss.

[ Oh. Jasmine smiles up at him in a manner that is both friendly and nervous. ] H-hello! Um... How are you?

[He's trying his best not to be a spiteful child and more of a gentleman.]

[And he motions to the seat next to her.]

[He blurts it out without much thought on his part.]

It's Jasmine. [ She smiles a bit more warmly. ] You know Canada?

Ah yes, introductions are in order, aren't they?

[He bows his head a little, taking Jasmine's hand and giving it a light kiss, in Victorian England fashion.]
