It was a quiet mid-afternoon for all it was worth. Strange sightings have been going on all day, but that was not going to stop this lesson from going through. The wonders of cooked food had yet to reach one individual, and he was set on fixing that.
To that end, he had arranged for a few things to be set up, namely the mise en place of what he planned on using. There were a variety of things, vegetables, spices, some liquids, but most of all there was meat. He guessed that she would like meat, so a meat dish is what they were to prepare, namely a teriyaki-marinated tri-tip steak. It was a simple dish, easy to prepare and serve, so there shouldn't be too much trouble. Hopefully.
And since everything was prepared now, all that was left was to wait for the student to be ready.
