What: It's Jasmine's birthday, and Canada does his best to make it special. (For all that he's never celebrated like a regular person before.)

Where: By a lake~
Warnings: Oh, cuteness overload and trauma at the end. Usual. ♥
Holding her hand lightly, Canada led Jasmine to the spot by the lake that he'd found. The water was calm and glassy, reflecting the deep purple sky so there was an sense of being nearer the sky than they really were. And there, on the grass just a bit back from the edge of the lake was a blanket laid out with candles and a small vase with a few sprigs of a bright orange flower.
Canada wasn't a pro at this by any means, but he certainly had to admit that it made for a pretty setting. (Thank you, Rikku and Whitney.)
As they approached the picnic, Canada looked anxiously over at Jasmine to see what her reaction to it would be, because it was her liking it that really counted.
