Who: Rapunzel and anyone else who wants to join in What:A certain blondy is feeling under the weather When: Today? Where: The giant window near the arrival area Warnings: Sad lil blonds ):
She jumped and stumbled off the ledge with a loud yelp. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't even hear anyone sneaking up on her. Rapunzel stumbled to pull herself up and pulled out a frying pan out of nowhere. " I-I know how to use this!"
She realized who it was after a moment of staring and her face turned a little red.
" Y-you didn't startle me at all. I knew you were there the whole time. I only did this to trick you, thats all."
She folded her arms and looked away in a silly way. There was even a pout forming on her lips. She couldn't help but feel embarrassed being caught that easily, what else could she do except deny it.
That got her a skeptical look. "Uh huh. Well, good job. You tricked me all right. I thought you were staring out the window, not lurking and waiting for unsuspecting people."
He sat down on the ledge and glanced out the window himself. Seeing all those stars still gave him a weird kind of thrill.
She dropped the frying pan and sat herself near him on the ledge. Though she gave him his distance. She looked to the window and unconsciously wiped her eyes with her sleeve. " Sorry..'
" H-huh? Nothing! Nothing's wrong.. it's.. fine" She went from trying to cover up to slowly.. giving up. She wasn't good at hiding how she felt, she never was. It always showed on her face or in her actions.
"I've just been thinking.. thinking about home.. mother.. things people have been saying.. I don't know," She couldn't look at him. Not now that her eyes were watering. She wiped her face with her sleeve again and scooted a little away from him. She felt rather silly bothering him like this.
Unfortunately it looked like this wasn't going to be one of those times when fixing the problem was as easy as stabbing something with his sword.
He hesitated a moment before he replied. He wasn't as good with this kind of emotional stuff. Still, it wouldn't be the first time he'd let a girl cry on his shoulder, figuratively speaking.
" They keep telling me.. that mother is bad. She's crazy.. they talk about her like all I was was some tool to her..but.." Her eyes water more as she tries to wipe it quicker. It even seemed like it was getting harder for her to talk.
" But.. I know she loved me! she had to of!... right?"
"I don't know anyone from my own world.. Mother never let me leave. But she only did that because she wanted to protect me! Not because she wanted to use me! Not because she was evil! She really loved me!... I-I know she did.."
Her tears flowed more as her cheeks now were stained with her tears. Her voice clearly sounded like she was becoming unsure of herself.
If Dante had paid more attention as a child to the fairy tales that didn't involve slaying dragons, then he might have a different perspective to offer. But he didn't, so he has no idea what's really going on here.
But that doesn't stop him from wanting to help. He's not sure what to say, so he's just going to tentatively pat her on the back.
"If she took care of you then I don't see how she could've been evil."
"They say, she was crazy because she locked me up.. they say she's horrible and could get arrested.. Everyone kept saying these things over and over about her... But.. she's my mother."
She turned her face away and hid them in her knees. She didn't want to keep bothering Dante with her sobbing, but she couldn't stop herself. " I'I-I'm sorry.. I should go."
He leans over her shoulder to see what she's looking at, but the only thing he sees is their reflections.
"Not much to see."

"So do I. You cook stuff in it. I'm not very good at it though," he joked.
Now that he could see her though, he could tell she was upset about something. He lowered his hands and gave her a slightly sheepish smile.
"Sorry about that. I didn't mean to startle you. Are you okay?"

Although it's fairly obvious that's not all that was going on. His voice is a little quieter when he speaks again. "What's wrong, kiddo?"

"How would they know anything about your mother? Are these people from your world saying this?"
