Casting a glance over her new home, Irene nodded. Miss Belgium's interview would start the moment she opened the door to this (only vaguely) organized mess. Boxes from her move were still everywhere, as intensive dress rehearsals had begun for the opera. If the young lady did not balk at the very sight, perhaps there would be hope.
At five minutes to the hour a knock came at the door. Pleased with her earliness, she went to open the door with a properly neutral smile.
"Good morning. You must be Belgium. Do come in," she invited with a slight wave.
