[OPEN] Ezio and his usual fly self

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio cannot help but smile. A reminder of home, even if it was a rather strange version of what he knows as Carnevale. While many others were dressed very differently than their usual selves, Ezio opted for a black dye version of his outfit with an intricate mask he found rather intriguing. He bows his head to several guests and guards, keeping his hood off so they could see he is indeed wearing a mask.]

[ Kasumi is just going about her merry way when she spots him and recognizes the outfit, dye and all. She's not entirely sure, though, so she'll approach cautiously. ]

Hmm... You don't happen to be that guy from way-back-in-time-Rome, do you?

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio laughs.] Yes, that would be me. Unless there is another that I am not aware of.

Nope, I don't think so. I don't think we ever actually introduced ourselves, but I was also wearing a hood that one time, if that helps.

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio thinks for a few moments. He only knew of Xion by name, but he did remember another woman who wore a deep hood like his.] Yes, I recall.

Nice. Let's make things easier for each other, shall we? I'm Kasumi.

[maestro_ezio]

Ezio. [He bows his head a little, strands of his hair falling forward.] A pleasure to meet you.

[stealwithit]

And the same to you, signore. Are you on your way inside?

[maestro_ezio]

[He nods.] Allow me to be your escort if you are going inside as well. [Ezio offers his arm like the true gentleman he was raised to be.]

[stealwithit]

Well, since you offered so kindly... [ She smiles and accepts his offer with a chuckle. They don't make 'em quite that chivalrous in the year 2185. ]

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio smiles back and leads her inside, politely making his way through the crowds.] You wear a very interesting costume Kasumi. [The name is initially a little difficult to pronounce for him. He's more used to Italian names but he's getting better. Repetition often helps.]

[ Her smile lingers for a bit, with the peculiar way he says her name. She finds it kind of endearing, really, and knows he'll get the hang of it sooner or later. ] Hmm, I imagine you'd think so. Have you ever heard of a country named Japan? It's a country in the far east. This dress was inspired by designs you would find there, and the same goes for the mask.

[maestro_ezio]

[Ezio ponders a moment.] I had not heard of that country before I arrived. It is an island, correct? I recall seeing it on a map I was shown.

Well, a group of islands to be more precise, but it's mostly just one island, so yup.

[maestro_ezio]

It seems to be a very different culture than mine. You are from Japan then?

[stealwithit]

[ nods ] I am. And, well, the cultural difference must be even greater in your time, actually!
