[To most people on Thor, "work" is rarely ever associated with Rikku. To e honest, they probably don't think she can zero in on something long enough without fumbling or getting bored; but to their surprise, that is not at all the case. Rikku loves work because she loves the busyness, the problem solving, and the focus it requires. (And when the work somehow manages to channel in her passions for technology, chemistry, and automotive? Oh baby, you're just talking dirty to her now.) There is nothing is more satisfying than a job well done.

Rikku's been more than excited to get started - it's pretty much all she's been able to think about these last couple days. And as she sits tall and perky in Noin's office, feet kicking restlessly under her chair, it shows.]

Wait, this... it isn't?

[Looks feverishly around the office, her face turning a deep purple at the realization that, no, this is in fact not the room she met Une in last time. But, but the directory said- and she could've sworn- and, and she followed all the directions the lady behind the desk gave her (at least she thought she did!)- and that hallway definitely looked familiar! Of course.]

[This is no "Hee hee, you found me!" moment. This is a "try to distract from your bugging eyes with a smile, Rikku... they're practically falling out their sockets."

Eeeee, yeah, it winds up looking more forced and twitchy than anything genuine. And she so wanted to impress Une, too.]

I didn't, um, fail, did I? I mean, I just got here and oh this is bad, huh? Really, I'm not this big o' daze, pinky promise!
