[Xion's sort of just. floating around in her tank. she initially thought this job was going to be fun, but... really? she has just as much of a clue as to what she's doing here as her fellow coworkers...

which means none at all, really. so whenever she's not awkwardly swishing her tail back and forth in what she assumes to be some kind of mermaid dance, she's just sort of picking at the seashells lining the bottom of her tank, trying to figure out which ones she can get away with stealing.

also for people who aren't her friends, she has some weird sort of seaweed veil over her face. DEAL WITH IT.]

[He removes his armband to prevent identification, tucking it in an inner pocket.]

Um... all right.

[she nods as she floats a little closer to him, even though she... still has no idea who he is.]

Can I ask what your name is, before you leave? Or would this be a bad time?

Sort of. For now, just call me a Fool. I'll get you an actual name later.

[And, with a wave, off he goes into the employee section.]

[she just quietly watches him from her tank as he leaves, curious about her mysterious benefactor... she'll definitely be watching out for someone like him in the future.]

[And, a few minutes later, the hatch to her tank opens and a jacket drops down behind one of the tank decorations. Looks like he managed to come through.]

[she looks up as she sees the jacket floating on down. as she swims over to it and starts to put it on (not without a bit of difficulty; it's not easy to put clothes on underwater, after all), she looks around the club to see if she can spot the elusive "Fool"...]

[Well, she'll find him exiting the employee-only area...]

[Running at a full sprint trying to get the hell out of there.]

[Because there are a bunch of burly-looking bouncer aliens on his tail.]

[So, mission successful, the escape not so much.]

[oh, geez, that's not good! she almost tries to rush to his aid, but she realizes she's trapped inside a tank... thankfully about an inch away from her smashing her face into the glass. so all she can do is watch... she attempts to draw attention away from him by banging on her tank and basically pretending something's gone wrong with her new jacket or something; anything to try and cause some sort of distraction!]

[That... does actually make one of the buncers divert to go see what's wrong, but the others are still on him.]

[Thankfully, he's made it out of the building, and the remaining ones don't chase him too far out, and come back in empty-handed after a while.]

[well, at least she... did something? and she just waves the guy that came to check on her off when he comes near her. she does make a mental note to see if she can find out who he is later...]

[That chance may be gotten soon. Around an hour later, he's back, only in a simple blue baseball T-shirt and jeans. Probably unrecognizable from his first appearance. Still, he comes over and taps on the glass again.]

Fool's back. How's everything going?

[oh, well that's an unexpected surprise! she's alerted by the tapping, and while at first she's confused, she certainly recognizes the voice.]

Oh, hi there! I'm glad to see you're all right... things are fine. [she holds out an arm to show the jacket.] Thanks again.

Yeah. Ran into a bit of trouble on the way out, but I'm good.

Don't worry about not wearing it when employers are around. I took care of that, too. Bit of a memo got passed around the offices backstage.
