[carrying some bags and she walks right past Zelos as if he's like any ol' stranger, but after a few seconds - she notices the kitten. maka pretty much double takes at this. why is it following him? does it belong to him?]

[Said kitty stops and looks right back at her for a moment, but continues on with a run to make up for stopping. Doesn't it look somewhat like a stray?]

[Zelos still doesn't seem to notice any of this.]

Um, hey, mister? You're leaving your kitten behind.

[Well that certainly caught his attention-- he stops and turns almost immediately. Huh! Was she talking to him?]

[He gives a smile just in case.] Me?

[ineuphony]

[she nods and points at the kitten below his feet.]

That little guy there. Does he belong to you?

[He nearly blinks, and looks down. Well he'll be damn, there was the kitten. Pointing at the kitty, he looks up again.]

... This guy? Afraid not.

Huh. -- I guess he likes you.

[romanticzero]

[Hearing that, he eyes the kitten again. Heh.]

Well I wouldn't say that. He must like everybody he sees, he's a kitten.

Guess you've got a point. Are you gonna keep him?

Keep him? [Genially shocked, but the kitten being as adorable as it is rubs against his boot and Zelos sighs inwardly.] ...I suppose since he won't take no for an answer.

Is it a boy or a girl? Do you know?

[probably have to pick it up and check...]

Um, I don't. [And guess who doesn't really want to check.]
