Ezio Auditore || Security | SRS BSNS INTIMIDATION/foxy Italian/professional asskicker maestro_ezio October 3 2011, 03:17:02 UTC
[Ezio quietly passes through the hallways, his trademark Assassin hood on. One probably wouldn't need to see much beyond his demeanor to know that he means business, or at least, knows how to fight back without even blinking.

He'd rather avoid conflict, but Ezio will do what it takes to keep the peace.]

Well, you're the only one here who would know about that kind of thing. I'll just stay disinterested, then.

[She pulls a few things down from the cabinet, seems dissatisfied with them, then closes the cabinet.]

Yes, I am sure I am alone in knowing such things.

[Ezio starts to rotate his wrist in an attempt to pop it. The hidden blade goes snikt once or twice. Its sharpness is obvious: the edge gleams in the harsh lights of the room.]

How could a nun know such things?

[She watches him subtly out of the corner of her eye. What was he trying to prove? Regardless of his intentions, she walks over, carefully reaching toward him.] Is something wrong with your hand?

[He scoffs.] You would be surprised.

[After several more attempts, his wrist finally pops somewhat painfully. Ezio grunts a little, but it felt so good now that he could move his wrist a little more freely.]

No, nothing is wrong.

A real nun. Not every woman who gets on her knees and sings praises is a woman of the Lord.

[She grabs his forearm anyway, pursing her lips before looking at the vambrace with disdain.] I can't look at it with that on.

Those are few enough.

[He twists his lips a little.] It was nothing, I assure you.

I've only seen a few.

[She looks away from his arm, and he is being stared down.] There wasn't a choice presented. Take it off.

[He sighs shortly in mild annoyance. Ezio starts to undo the buckles of his vambrace methodically, then slips it off. He holds his arm out lazily for her.]

[She hardly seems to mind his annoyance as she runs her fingers along the length of his arm. It doesn't seem to satisfy her, so she gingerly tugs his sleeve up. Her fingers settle between the bones of his forearm, lingering at the wrist.]

It seems a little inflamed. Have you been wearing your weapon too tightly?

I have been working.

[Compared to the nothing he had been doing a month or so before, Ezio has definitely been doing more than his fair share of sneaking around and eavesdropping lately. Suffice to say, he hasn't been entirely paying attention to any injuries, if he does have any.]

And climbing like a younger man. How old are you, really?

[She massages his wrist gently, pressing here and there, easing the bones into alignment and soothing the tendons and muscles.] If it were to lock up while you were using your blade, it would be difficult.

[Ezio does not respond to her question. He watches her hands work on his wrist, the pain shooting through his muscles every so often. Until finally...]

44.

[He says this in a quieter tone than usual. 44, and he's been an assassin since he was 17. It indeed has been a long time, has it not?]

Hm? Forty-fou--

[She stops speaking so suddenly that she chokes. There are a few seconds of coughing, though she manages to gently hold his arm away to avoid jarring it. Then, her voice is a hoarse whisper.]

You're... you're really that... You're very... youthful. For your age.

[Oh, god. That body. And that face. And everything about him. Old enough to be her father, sure, but the only part of her that seems to mind are her reddening cheeks. She goes back to working on his wrist.

Denial is the best strategy.]

For my age.

[Ezio smirks at her reaction. Did she truly think he was so much younger?]

So what do you think, doctore? Are you going to tell me to stop doing what I do?

thinkin_arbys October 10 2011, 04:42:39 UTC
No, signore. I am going to tell you to favor your other hand for a few days, loosen the vambrace as much as you can, and let me come take a look at it when I have more time. I'll have a salve for it, and I will see if we can pad the area against your wrist to let the bones settle.

[She continues to examine his arm with light touches, and there's a hint of concern on her brow.]

What I will say now and never again is that you look much more handsome at this age. Take care of yourself or I'll have to take it back.
