What: being such a good friend, maka is helping black☆star move his things to her apartment with the others. but due to the event, it takes them a lot longer than it expected. thus, they spend the new years eve together.

[maka is having a rather busy day. it started after the new room registry was issued. her childhood friend and teammate, black☆star is moving right back into his old apartment with the rest of his shibusen pals. in any other time, moving one's belongings would be an easy task. however since the floor is now lava thanks to the drive, moving day is a bit more challenging for them.]
[and maka, doing what she does best, figured out a method to work around it. since black☆star is an assassin meister, he was in charge of traveling the boxes from one place to another. he's a bit more experienced than maka with that sorta thing. and besides, she feels this would be a good way for him to train his skills in case he's been slacking off. and maka's job was to gather all of his belongings into boxes neatly and to make sure he doesn't leave anything behind.]
[after a few hours of extreme moving, they finally reached their last box. maka wipes the little amount of sweat off her forehead as she tapes up the last bit. when she finishes, she lies back on her friend's bed and flicks on the television. she hadn't realize it was only two hours away until the New Years. have they really been working that long? either way, she hopes black☆star managed to snag some take-out for them while he was out during his trip. she'd text him to ask, but she wouldn't want to distract him. the last thing she wants to have him slip up and burn himself. so she'll wait with a growling stomach as she flips through to channels to see what else is on.]
