I found myself leaving the room during the second half an hour of Heroes, fairly consistently for the past month. I don't know, I try to give it a chance but nothing, nothing has been keeping me glued like last season.
Completely agree with you on the whole Maya thing, I wanted to smack her upside the head when she started to face-fornicate with sylar. Ew. I want the old, innocently evil Sylar back.
And Peter is such an easily manipulated idiot, I can't stand it. Everyone has their way with him and he keeps bending over and asking for more. Bah.
Nothing this season has me hooked, the only reason I still watch is because my inner Alias fangirlness for David Anders won't let me stop...and my mild girlcrushes on Ali Larter, Kristen Bell and Dana Davis.
I think the writers really did contemplate, "you killed my father, prepare to die." which is slightly sad.
Peter: Hiro? Hiro: Peter? Peter: Hey! You're on the wrong side! Hiro: No, YOU'RE on the wrong side! Peter: Let's totally have a fight without stopping to figure out what's going on, even though we're buds! Hiro: Awesome!
Also, the confrontation between Claire and Elle? Kinda cool to see female anger, kind of seemed like a gift to people who like "foxy boxing."
My money is on Niki and Parkman to "fall." My two favorites that nobody else likes. Alas. Killing Niki would be really convenient, since she has the virus anyway, and it's obvious that she'll have to step in and save Monica. And they're really not using Parkman in this storyline.

Yeah, that whole "let's use a euphemism for dying" thing got on my nerves. Of course, this is the same network that's seemingly hell-bent on killing Mariska Hargitay every week on Law & Order, judging by the commercials.

And to be honest, I'd give anything for that Princess Bride joke at this point.
