When: evening
Where: Sherlock's room
Warnings: none
[ One of John's self-imposed duties was to try and make sure Sherlock didn't go days between meals. He didn't eat when he was working and he didn't eat when he was bored, which sometimes seemed to be the only two states of being for Sherlock Holmes.
Sherlock had been fighting off some kind of illness for a while now, and John had been bracing himself for an argument about going to the medical facilities on board the ship. He'd already brought it up twice and been shot down, but this had been going on too long.
The
texts he'd received just now could have just been Sherlock in one of his black moods, but the comment about his stomach not handling food was sending up warning flags in the clinical section of John's mind, which was why he found himself outside Sherlock's door.
When there was no answer to his knock, he tried the door and it opened. Sherlock must have left it unlocked for him. ]
Hello? Sherlock?
