[sigrun salvage mission/closed] Science has made us gods
Who: Team Psycho (completeglobal , dr_kiriko , holmes_blogger , and umbrelladouche )
What: Team Psycho begins their salvage mission in the lab area of the Sigrun.
When: Afternoon.
Where: S.S. Sigrun, Labs
Warnings: This log will undoubtedly end up housing some bloody violence, considering all who's on the team.
His research wasn't going to be put on hold for much longer.
Wesker was intent on gathering data from the Laboratory Wing of the derelict Sigrun, fuelled both by his ever-present motive of creating something from these resources to help better others (by the only way he knew how: forced evolution) and the frustration of this long process previously being interrupted. An interruption by something as ridiculous as his planet being destroyed, no less. The very thought provoked a frown on his usually controlled features, but now was not the time to dwell on it. Now, the process would begin anew. And perhaps the results would be all the more better for it.
The trek to the labs was rather uneventful, though his senses kept him attuned to his surroundings, despite his air of detachment he might have been emitting to his other team members he was supposed to be leading.
Quick and efficient, that's all he asked of them. Therefore, he saw very little need to make any conversation for most of the trip.
Until, of course, they found themselves standing in front of massive metallic doors, with rather imposing lettering reading:
AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ACCESS ONLY
"Hopefully a promise for something interesting," he said, grinning faintly. Adjusting his sunglasses, he entered the passcode he was given by the captains to open the doors with the practiced fluidity of someone who does it often. The console by the doors beeped softly with each input. With a contrastingly loud hiss, the doors slid open, and Wesker remained unmoved, even as a shocking draft of freezing air was the first thing to meet the team.
