Kyoya made his way to the Wayne Enterprises building, dressed to impress and with his presentation notes in hand. While it was true that he no longer had the financial standing or reputation he was accustomed to, he still had the experience that came from striving towards his father's ideal and keeping the Host Club afloat. And perhaps this was the opportunity he needed to better his position.

Making his way to the 11th floor, he announced his arrival to reception before waiting to be met so things could get underway.

Une busied herself with the usual stack of reports along with the transcript of her latest meeting with one of the district police chiefs. To say Preventer's relationship with law enforcement on Thor was tenuous would be putting it mildly. Still, politics was one of the occupational hazards she had signed up for and she took in stride. When her phone rang, shattering her concentration, she had to suppress a sigh before picking it up on the third ring. Her secretary was on the line to say there was one Kyoya Ohtori to see her.

"Send him in."

Kyoya stood and nodded as he was told to go through, being sure to thank the secretary with the charm he broke out for those occasions where it served him well before making his way to the office and knocking, calm but determined.

No, ma'am. I had a few unexpected difficulties regarding jobs this month. Somebody decided to chose another one for me.
