[These same doors part to reveal none other than Albert Wesker, who was previously standing patiently, waiting for the elevator to arrive. His arms are crossed, but when he notices who he is to share this lift with (immediately, sharply; one is not a scientist without being precisely observant in all things), he merely lifts a brow.

And strides on in with a confident air about him.]

Fancy meeting you here.

Yes, fancy that.

[she offers the best smile she can muster: lips quirking upward, no teeth bared]

I was just going to take a quick detour. After all, I should slip into something more appropriate for the task at hand.

[The doors slide shut behind him only moments later, and Wesker offers her a faint grin.]

I don't blame you. The labs are, after all, quite the mess right now. I do hope you know what you're getting into.

[He idly shifts his weight to turn around and reach out a hand, pressing the appropriate button that leads to the floor he desires. The labs, no doubt.]

[She maintains her military bearing and merely stands with her hands at her sides, fists loosely clenched. Her eyes steal a glance at which button he's lit up before settling on his face, seeing her stare reflected in his shades.]

Surprise me.

[And, as if in answer to her request, the lights in the elevator shut off and plunge them into darkness as their ascent comes to a screeching halt.]

[ A broadcast promptly plays on the PA system proclaiming a revolt courtesy of the elevators. Une sees fit not to comment until the transmission ends. No panic in her voice. She's far too tired to be upset by such a development. Just an exasperated sigh.]

This is a voyage of the damned.

[Wesker does not react right away, or rather, not in a very dramatic manner. He simply glances about, which he soon deems to be a fairly moot point; though his eyes are adjusted to work in dim-lighting, there is only so much they can do.

Ironically, however, the only constant source of light (ignoring a flicker or two from the elevator on erratic occasions) are the faint red flow of Wesker's eyes, dimmed from behind his dark shades.

Shades that he pulls up and lets rest on the top of his head, since they are nothing more than an inconvenience at the moment.]

Is it? I expected less static and more fire and brimstone.
