[Bundled up against the chill weather, Irene came to stand outside the charming restaurant only a couple minutes

[staring at the glass for a second, she ponders its contents; she hated to be rude but...]

Can you be certain it's non-alcoholic?

I did not taste any alcohol in it, but I can certainly ask.

[As she motions the server over she says not so much as a question but a statement,]

Your preference, is it? As to not loose inhibition.

Quite right. I do intend to get some work done before turning in for the night.

[missthewoman]

[She grins indulgently - of course she does - then turns to the server. The alien assures them that it is indeed non-alcoholic, and a fully natural product of the planet.
Thus reassured, Irene invites Une with a gesture to try the drink. (And as she does that, Irene inquires to the alien about procuring some to take back with her.)]

[nodding, she takes the glass from Irene and sips]

Hm...that's unique.
