An hour later, and Marisa was still blushing after she'd finally gotten off the Guide with that... woman. Between the display of her body, the outfit and the conversation (including massive flirting from one Catherine), the witch was having a hard time getting her mind off... stuff.

Like her girlfriend.

If she wasn't so embarrassed at the thought of going anywhere near that store and what was in it, she might have sent a message to Karen. But she couldn't. She couldn't tell her girlfriend about the thoughts that advertisement had put in her head. That kind of play was for experienced couples. Older couples. Not a pair of teenagers that still fumbled between the sheets in their eagerness.

But gods, Karen would look so hot in something like that.

Marisa actually walked past her door and was halfway down the hall before she caught herself. Oh. Damn. She turned back and headed into the apartment. Hopefully, Karen wouldn't be in so she wouldn't have to explain her distracted state... and the flush on her face.

Karen would have felt really bad if she knew that she was dashing Marisa's hopes with her presence. Either way, she was here, and right in the living room no less, trying to get assorted mental images out of her head and failing miserably. Well, not so miserably in some case, but the point was that she was glad nobody was here to make her speak her mind, because she had a lot to try not to think about.

It wasn't that it sounded unappealing, of course, but Karen hadn't even been able to work up the nerve to ask Marisa to do it "normally" without several months to prepare and Marisa's interest stated bluntly.

Besides, it would mean going to that store. Or talking Marisa into going to that store, which was equally impossible.

Regardless, here she was, sitting on the couch, rubbing her forehead with her hands in part of a series of increasingly random attempts to make the thoughts stop pestering her.

"Welcome home, Marisa. Are you feeling alright? You look a little--"

"Shut up!" Marisa cut the door off with a hasty reply, betraying how flustered she was as she took her hat off and hung it up. Hands running through her hair, mussing it up to get rid of the hat-hair, she walked into the living room and froze, hands still in her hair, as she spotted Karen.

A second later, the witch turned bright red.

The door's yapping gave Karen a few precious seconds, which she spent doing the sensible thing: flailing wildly. She only realized Marisa was blushing after she'd already matched it with her own.

"...welcome home."

Awkward.
