Aphrodite was wandering the ship, enjoying the glances and double takes her presence garnered. She had no particular destination in mind today, but she used her wandering to great effect, mentioning the beauty contest and how all the contestants were endorsed by her, the goddess of beauty.
Aphrodite's wandering brought her close to one section she had not yet visited. She paused, head tilted as a familiar scent wafted past her. Could it be? No surely not here on a space ship. The scent of salt water drew her closer and closer until she entered a most wondrous place. A mini-ocean on a space ship, complete with sand and waves, and were those dolphins?
She stood at the waters' edge, the waves lapping at her bare toes, sandals left in her wake. Smiles wreathed her face as she waded in. At last something familiar in this strange, frightening place. Sleek shapes soon surrounded her as Dite waded out even farther into the pool, their enthusiastic greetings buoying her ebullient mood.
Unnoticed by the goddess, busily communing with her sacred animals, her aura was bestowing gifts upon nearly the entire ship. anyone who was susceptible was affected, though the strength was determined by how far away they were from the goddess. Closer in physical proximity, the stronger the gift.
