Today I came across a case of plagiarism on fanfiction.net. An author calling themselves MutantNinjaMikey posted a story called Red Riding Hood on July 8, 2013. It as an almost exact word-for-word copy of Shadowglove's story The Thing With Dreams, which was published on September 24, 2007. Greetings velvetwhip,

Will be moderating your case and have confirmed the plagiarism. If you could post a link to the screenshots of the PM with shadowglove, it would be most useful.

Also have opened a case for you in the TAPIR forum over at FFN since this is a FFN case. Will see about getting that story taken down.

Have some good news. We did not get response from MutantNinjaMikey, our report to the FFN admin recently bore fruit and we received the following response:

We have confirmed the abuse and the offending account/stories have been removed. Thank you for the report.

Please note the deletion is final but due to caching, the stories belonging to this account might still show up on the public site for a few hours.

Please help us spread the word.

Also did an RTB, and a songfic wherein the song is uncredited if memory serves. I've looked at so many yesterday and today trying to play catch up. Still going through e-mails and bombarding Xing & co again about their lack of moderation with examples... (I'm an evil wench.)
