[ speaking English, but it's moderately French-accented. ]

It doesn't seem that there would be many here, from what I have seen.

I have two daughters, myself, though they are not here right now.

[ the little things in life, huh? could speak French, but doesn't do so as often, and...well, hasn't done so regularly since probably the early 1700s. ]

I suppose there is no harm in it.

Though it was never a holiday that I bothered to celebrate.

[ also has a son! but.........doesn't...talk about that. ]

...I'm sorry you feel that way, but its just another day of appreciation.

Right, of course.

I'm just sure enough of myself to the point where I don't need any appreciation, so I find the day to be rather stupid.

... although if someone did feel like giving their appreciation, I wouldn't mind so much.

..I see.

[Oh Iggy. You're lucky he finds your tsundere qualities charming. So he does what every good child does; pokes fun in a mildly joking way.]

Bonne fête des pères, Angleterre.

There's a day for fathers?

stopblamingme June 21 2010, 08:05:50 UTC
Yes, there is. There's one for mothers, too, and in my house there's one for families.

Wow... that's really nice! I mean, that there's a day for things like that.

Are there ones for all family members?

Yes, the appreciation days are nice, eh?

Not all of them, but in my house we do celebrate Family day. I don't think America does, though.
