Being an alumni

I have noticed that current students of Augustana often complain about it... whether its the Student Center, the music department, or Bahls in general. Many graduating seniors often claim they will never donate to Augustana, however, if you look at the Alumni donations the longer you are an alumni the more likely you are to give. For the school's sake, it beter be that way.

Me, I have already had some better experiences at Hartford than I ever had at Augie. I wouldn't give up what I did have, but I will have two schools asking me for money in the future. I'll be more likely to donate to the school that didn't screw/neglect me at times because of administration and that provided me the education that I ultimately will need for my career.

I'll most likely contribute to Augie when they decide to demolish Centennial Hall and contract me to design a performance space that doesn't sound like utter crap.
