"... Ow." The object of his ire opened an eye, stare flat. Suigetsu wasn't exactly deeply asleep, but he did need the rest and so wasn't the most pleasant company right this minute. "I'm not the one going places."

The eye slid down. "And you're the one with your hand in my knee."

--Said knee being a wrist-deep puddle of water in the crack of the sidewalk.

His first instinct was to scowl. "No one's got their hand on your kn-"

It wasn't really a knee, which was probably the cause of this particular misunderstanding. Normal people - ayakashi or human - didn't exactly possess the tendency to melt in broad daylight.

He jumped back. "Ugh! What...you're melting!"

"Correction: liquifying. Not ice." He yawned and the puddle bubbled for a moment before beginning to reshape itself in roughly the form of a knee. He was too lazy at the moment to fully reform in one go.

Tsuyukusa watched in a sort of morbid fascination as the liquid solidified into human flesh. This place really was full of creeps. "Are you human?" he asked, staring down warily.
