I did receive a recommendation for a "bolt action rifle". I've never quite been able to handle bows, though. I'm more of a swordsman.

Well if you get a gun I'm not real sure where th' best place t' shoot it is. Unless we 'ave a target range I'm not aware of.

[ And the drones aren't acceptable targets. ] I haven't seen one. I've heard of archers training on small objects like fruit and the like, though. Perhaps that would be sufficient.

I've been usin' fence posts for my bow. But with a gun you need t' make sure there ain't nothin' behind it. Bullets go a whole hellouva lot further, even through things.

Th' school got a football field? Could set somethin' up there.

Ah, that's right. [ think ] I believe it does. One of my, er, "children" has talked about playing football at school. I'll check to make sure.

From what I've observed, Sunday should be a safe bet. School is not in session, and there seems to be some religious significance toward staying home.
