I am a transgender genderqueer biological female boi dyke. I have many issues with this topic. I want to present in the straight world as male, but I don't identify with the traditional idea of what 'male' is. I don't see myself as male or female. I am something different. Cam, welcome. I have similar feelings about my gender - I want queer people to recognize me, yet I don't really have a problem with hetero folks seeing me as one of them. I have not been off T long enough to appear androgynous again, so I don't really have much to offer on living in the binary world when your appearance obviously doesn't fit. I wish I had some insight to give you. Thank you for posting.

I haven't even started on T yet and it's frustrating as all hell to be precieved as biologically male in queer spaces. It feels almost as if I'm erasing my hystory and identity through it. I wish there was some way for people to understand multipul gender identities outside of the binary and have them respected.

this post is old, but i just wanted to add that i identify with nearly everything said here. and it feels really good to know i'm not the only one feeling that way.
